INDECO was formed in 1999 in response to the need for a dedicated claims and survey service provider to the maritime and insurance industry ready to respond to complex claims and to deal in those situations where considerable savings can be made. INDECO is an entirely independent company, with the unique ability to act with total autonomy to ensure that its principal’s position is fully protected. With its local knowledge and trust and its round the clock availability, INDECO acts for owners, charterers, operators andlor P&I and H&M interests amongst others.
Based in Barcelona with easy direct access to Tarragona, Castellén and Valencia. With its network of independent surveyors, lawyers and experts INDECO covers the whole of Spain providing clients with a uniform and consistent service.
The office can provide both the legal and commercial ability to adequately deal with claims and negotiate with local interests, and a network of local experts, dedicated to loss prevention who share their technical knowledge and expertise with the Marine Lawyers enabling Indeco to adopt a pragmatic and constructive approach to the handling of problems locally and at first hand, wherewithin we assess the situation quickly, identify the problems and offer the best possible and – hopefully – most expedient solution.
